Double Chocolate Pot

The Chocolate Pot is one of the easiest desserts out there to make,

it is a dessert that you will keep coming back to. Its delicious, easy and is sure to impress your friends!!


  • 225g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 50g white chocolate
  • 150ml milk
  • 400 ml double cream, plus extra for serving.
  • 50ml Orange liqueur (optional)
  • 50g icing sugar
  • 2 egg yolks

Pour the cream into a saucepan, gently bring to the boil. Once the cream bubbles to the top of the pan turn off the heat. Pour the cream over the chocolate and stir until the chocolate has melted. In another bowl whisk together milk, icing sugar, egg yolks and (liqueur optional). Pour milky mixture onto the chocolate, stir till combined. Strain the mixture by using a sieve. Then pour into the serving dish of choice. Refrigerate over night.

2 hours before serving melt the white chocolate. drizzle over the set chocolate pots and return to the refrigerator.

For the final touch add a sprig of mint and a small jug of double cream!
